ART SUPPLIES

I wanted to gather my favorite art supplies into a list. I will be making updates here as my journey continues. Keep in mind these are my favorites. There are so many wonderful alternatives to fit your style, budget, and needs. Please feel free to email me directly if you have questions regarding supplies.

I LOVE supplies and walking into an art store makes my heart skip a beat! But, I understand that art supplies can be overwhelming. So many brands, so many selections, so many different mediums…you can spend so much time and energy finding what works best for you.

I would encourage you to experiment with various mediums before breaking the bank on supplies. You can practice with craft paints, a box of crayons, and your kids watercolors to start. Once you are ready to purchase supplies, I would suggest buying supplies individually to ensure you get the exact colors you want. Avoid large sets. Look to your own home or closet for inspiration. You will find you already know your color palette based on what surrounds you. Start a Pinterest board inspired by styles of painting, colors, and textiles you like to help narrow down your palette.

IN MY STUDIO

Over the years, I have gathered items from my travels, estate sales, items family members have passed down to make my space feel unique. But there are a few items I find particularly useful in my studio that I would love to share with you!
